And now it's my time for an update.

For the life of me I wanted to make this epic in proportion post with elaborate descriptions for the past week and then some, but I cannot remember everything that went down in sequential order. So I'll be throwing up some of the better pictures that I got over this past week with good description of the events which took place. All in all it was absolutely amazing.

Justin and Josh both got into Raleigh fine, and we all went to Sheetz for some talking after dinner at Vincent's with JBoy and a few others.

The fortune on my Jones Soda. :D

Afterwards we went back to Lara's dad's apartment as Josh slept, Justin tried to fix a PS2 controller, and Lara and I played Text Twist.

Then everyone visited. We all ate CrazyFire.

Not only was dinner incredible, but very fun as we broke the restaraunt when all 15 of us (which soon consolidated to 12) showed up to eat. Dinner was also madness. Lara has more fun pictures.

This is a picture right before the bed broke. No, really. That bed is dead now.

But most of the crazy (but awesome!) people left the next afternoon leaving Dennis, Terry, Justin, Lara, and I. We watched all of the Ali G show and stopped at Panera before taking Dennis home. After Dennis we went once again to Sheetz, where there a purchase was made of the Jones Soda Holiday Pack. The pictures on Lara's journal should let everyone know about how frightening the experience was.

I hate Pea soda. I hate it so damn much.

The afternoon after Jones recovery Justin and Terry got ready to leave while Lara and I slept for years. We woke our lazy asses up and both Terry and Justin went on their respective ways home. Justin and Terry are too good to be so far away. Later that evening Lara's dad took us out to eat. We came back home and watched Invader Zim. We wanted to finish the whole series before I left but at the end of disc 5 we were sooooooooo tired -> Sleep.

Wake up. I was sad because I have to leave.

Lara, Ginger, and some guy that has a goofy expression on his face that need to go away.

So I started my 8 and a half hour trek back to Louisville. Everything seemed to be going quite well and I got some very pretty pictures of the drive:

And for those who don't understand the title of my last post, as I drove all the way through North Carolina there was sun and clouds, and good things. As soon as I crossed into Virginia no more than just 20 minutes into the trip this was what fell over me:

So when I say the sun doesn't shine in Virginia I can cite this as proof. Not only did everything fall into complete darkness, but I got to drive through mountanous hell in the middle of a snowstorm, and to make it better Virginia doesn't believe in salting their highways apparently. I almost died twice. Once from being near sideswiped by a semi drifting lanes and another when I almost lost control of my car on a really bad patch of road despite lowering my speed to near-crawling levels.

After escaping Virignia, West Virignia was only half as bad. The rest of the trip was plagued with getting disconnected from my phone every 15 seconds because Cingular is a big steaming pile of crap.

In conclusion I would like to say I definately would make this trip over and over again...preferrably in a "Groundhog Day" style except where the loop is 8 days rather than 1. It was worth everything it took to get there and back. I miss North Carolina already.

In conclusion, I leave with one of my favorite pictures ever:

EDIT: I resized the pictures incorrectly. Oh well, I think everyone will live.
