Nothing creative to say here

Life is going pretty good right now.

- I'm now a Supervisor at work and making a lot more money doing so
- Vegas trip paid for by Fun In Motion was really nice
- Poker in Vegas was even more nice to my wallet
- Acen in soon/Free badge thanks to Shane being awesome
- Car finally about to be paid off soon as well, meaning that a month or two of saving and I'll be out of the house

And that's about all I've got. Maybe I'll update within a month this next time

I don't even know why I'm at Ohayocon right now D:

I've being taken out of my current position (training new hires) at work to be involved in a special project. From what I'm told I've been hand-chosen as a best practice employee to more or less determine hiring practices/volume for another department.

In short - it's a pretty good feeling being recognized for being a good and consistent worker as opposed to being recognized for whom you know in a company.

I'm displeased in that it took me far to long to put into words something that I've internally known for quite some time.

The best time to see what a person is really made of mentally and emotionally is a week or two after a relationship has ended. That's typically when the ugliest things tend to come out that were hidden for far too long.

If anyone (and I imagine most people have) been in that situation then you can agree that the differences are absolutely astounding.

I just got word on the Pump Pro 2 deadline for having things finished.

The standard Palatka house New Years Eve party turned out to be anything but standard. Airsoft gun Russian Roulette and some random MMA-styled grappling matches took place. I have to say winning two out of my three matches by choking out a couple of people I barely knew was a very interesting and fun way to start things off this year. The fact that one of the two guys were trained for that style of fighting makes me consider the possibilities of pursuing and interest in that a bit further.

Or then again that could just be the leftover alcohol talking.

In addition I also got a check in the mail for my work in on Pro. Opening up a 4 figure check is pretty damn awesome. All else I can say is that it's about god damn time to be getting steady payment on a game I've been working on since 2007.

People who use or say "fml" are generally attention hungry whores that want sympathy for their problems that could be fixed simply if they were not clinically retarded and used an ounce of common sense.

So to that I say "Yes, fuck your life you self-righteous twat".
